San Carlos Alternative Rural Health Care Center

This replacement health care facility on the San Carlos Apache Reservation will consist of 16,721 m² of new constructed space located in Peridot, Arizona, a community about 7 km from the existing hospital. A portion of the existing San Carlos Hospital and support buildings owned by IHS will be demolished as part of this project. This new health care facility will expand existing ambulatory, inpatient, dental, and community health services and includes new services such as low risk birthing, ambulatory procedures, endoscopy, telemedicine, mammography, CT, and a full array of tribal health programs.
