Summary:

The purpose of this course is to promote dental disease prevention activity among the 34 dental programs in the Portland Area and to encourage effective leadership to accomplish all program objectives.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this meeting, the participant will be able to:
1. Describe the oral health status of AI/AN children.
2. Describe best practices to prevent ECC.
3. List best practices to increase performance of GPRA objectives.
4. List and describe tools to build effective leadership in a dental program.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
