Summary:

This course is not subject to the lottery. It is open to California dentists only. To register for the course, please email Steve Riggio at steve.riggio@ihs.gov.

The purpose of this one-day hands-on/lecture course is to give Tribal dentists instruction on selection and placement of mini-implants. The course will also provide instruction on denture adaptation to the mini-implants.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. State basic principles regarding mini-implants.
2. Select and place mini-implants.
3. Retro-fit dentures to the newly placed implant.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
