Summary:

This session is part of a regular series of CE courses offered only to the staff of the Nashville and Albuquerque Areas. The purpose of this training is to provide information about the CMS EHR Incentive Program Meaningful Use Performance Measures for Dental Department Staff. This training will include review of Meaningful Use Stage 1 [2013 changes] and Stage 2 performance measures and monthly report cards to assist sites in identifying opportunities for improvement in their dental workflow and documentation.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to:
1. Define CMS [Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services] Electronic Health Record [EHR] Incentive Program Stage 1 [2013 changes] and Stage 2 Meaningful Use Performance Measures.
2. Interpret monthly Meaningful Use provider measure report cards.
3. Identify potential opportunities for improvement in dental workflow and documentation to meet required performance measures to receive Meaningful Use of EHR Incentive Payments.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
