Summary:

This session is part of a regular series of CE courses offered only to the staff of the Nashville Area. This session will spotlight community programs that target three age groups across the lifespan. Panelists will discuss programs for preschool teacher training, elementary school based dental services, and oral health for elders.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to:
1. Name at least two methods that dental staff may use to assist preschool teachers achieve performance standards.
2. Discuss barriers commonly encountered in school based dental programs.
3. Identify common oral health concerns that may be expressed in elder groups.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
