The purpose of this course is to introduce/review the principles of implant dentistry, and to apply these principles to several dental implant systems and to be able to apply and use these principles in the clinical use of the systems.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the principles important in the planning, placement, restoration, and maintenance of dental implants.
2. List the advantages and disadvantages of several different implant systems on the market and in use in the general population today.
3. Demonstrate the use of the clinical components of the AstraTech Dental Implant system.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
