Tracking Attendance

Overview

The CDE website allows Instructors to track student attendance and have it reported immediately. The process of tracking attendance for a student is the same whether the lottery or the Course Director added the student to the course.

Instructors generally expect students to attend all of the sessions for a course. However, experience tells us that sometimes this is not the case. Therefore, the CDE system allows entry of either full or partial attendance.

To track attendance in the CDE system, Instructors use the following pages:

• My Instruct to begin Instructor / Course Director tasks
• Course Detail to find the students for tracking attendance
• Track Attendance to enter full attendance and post-course work completion date for students
• Attendance Detail to enter partial attendance for a student
