This one-day program is for facility managers, facility engineers and designers, safety inspectors, code enforcers, architects, building owners, and biomedical technicians. The course addresses specific technical requirements of medical gas and vacuum systems, essential electrical systems, and emergency preparedness within healthcare facilities including laboratory requirements in healthcare occupancies. The course addresses requirements for new construction as well as upgrade and modernization of existing healthcare facility systems. Course is based on the 2005 Code. To successfully complete the course, attendees must attend entire course, complete the exercises, and achieve 70 on a post-class quiz. |
