Description: This course introduces students to ground water hydrology and the methods of constructing domestic water wells. The course combines extensive classroom lecture with field demonstrations. Field demonstrations include well drilling by air and mud techniques, casing and screen setting, well development, test pumping, and geophysical well logging.
