This course introduces participants to the core components of the public health approach to preventing injuries among American Indians and Alaska Natives. Participants will work in small teams to address specific injury issues in fictional Tribal communities throughout Indian Country. Who should attend: tribal health board members, health directors, tribal council members, IHS environmental health personnel, and tribal injury prevention staff Course Length: 3 ½ days Continuing Education Units: 1.8 |
