Description: Sequestration has you grounded? Travel budget dwindling? Diving into the world of virtual meetings? Wondering how to better engage your staff and partners without face-time? Join us for a short session on the basics of online facilitation using Adobe Connect. Get more out of your meetings! When used properly virtual meeting platforms can be a very valuable tool in increasing productivity, learning, gathering group consensus, and action planning. It is especially useful for geographically dispersed groups. The Webinar will be conducted by LCDR Jessica L. Otto who is serving as the IHS Staff Environmental Health Officer with the Division of Environmental Health Services, Rockville, Maryland.
Learning Outcomes: Learning Objectives: by the end of this session attendees will be able to: 1. Differentiate between different types of pods and understand their uses. 2. Comprehend the use and value of creating layouts before a meeting. 3. Utilize facilitation methods to engage the audience in a virtual setting.
