Nursing Hat  Sioux San Hospital provides Inpatient services to patients needing more medical or mental health care than offered by Outpatient clinics.  There are nineteen (19) beds in the acute care general medical unit, a four (4) beds in the pediatric unit, and nine (9) beds in the mental health unit.  For visiting hours, click here.  

First Aid Kit  Inpatient units are staffed by Nursing, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.  Physicians are either on-site or available on call providing twenty-four (24) hour support for the nursing staff.

If a patient needs services that are not available at Sioux San Hospital, the patient is transported to and from another facility providing the needed services.  If the patient is eligible, these services are covered by Contract Health.
