Best Practices

  Best Practices Toolbox
CAO Clinical Best Practices conferences and trainings draw on quality improvement principles and best-practice guidelines. Many of the conferences and trainings are national events, or open to all IHS areas, tribal organizations, and individuals to join in order to learn and share, network, and challenge each other to reach new levels of excellence. Web-based and conference sessions not only provide the most up-to-date recommendations and standards from National experts but also provide technical guidance relevant within the Indian Health Service. The target audience includes anyone who participates in the performance measure (GPRA) process, including providers, nursing staff, data entry staff and administrators.
