February 28, 2005- The Phoenix Area was well represented at San Diego during the 2005 Indian Health Service Annual
Meeting of the Combined National Councils Awards Banquet [more photos].
Among those honored were award recipients from the
Whiteriver Service Unit, the Phoenix Indian Medical Center, the
Phoenix Area Indian Health Service, and the
IHS Clinical Support Center.
The National Council Chairs were presented clocks in appreciation for their efforts. Pictured left to right:

The National Council of Nursing Dedicated Service Award was presented to Hilde Betonte, RN, MPA, Whiteriver Service Unit.
The National Council of Clinical Directors Physician Dedicated Service Award was present to Albion F. Hargrave, III, MD,
Phoenix Indian Medical Center.
E.Y. Hooper, IHS Clinical Support Center (retired), was presented a Special Recognition Award.
