Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation

We are the descendants of eleven bands of Indians that were settled on the Colville Reservation. These bands are the Methow, Okanogan, San Poil, Arrow Lakes, Nespelem, Nez Perce, Palouse, Moses, Entiat, and Wenatchee. Most of the bands spoke a Salish or Sahaptin language, including nsalxcln, nhamcin, and nimipu. Our 1.3 million acre Reservation is located in the northeastern part of Washington, bordered on the west by the Okanogan River and on the south and east by the Columbia River.
