The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is rich in heritage. Our traditions have taught us cultural pride, and working together continues the advancement of our people. Our children are raised in a caring environment and grow up to lead responsible and productive lives.

Tribal Health and Prevention Programs

  • Indian Child Welfare Services
  • Mental health and community outreach
  • Elderly nutrition program and substance abuse programs
  • Tribal Community Health Representatives (CHR)
  • A County Health Nurse is contracted once a month to provide WIC services
  • User population in 1998 was 425.
