The Klamath Tribes
The mission of the Klamath Tribes is to protect, preserve, and enhance the spiritual, cultural, and physical values and resources of the Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin Peoples, by maintaining the customs and heritage of our ancestors. To establish a comprehensive unity by fostering the enhancement of spiritual and cultural values through a government whose function is to protect the human and cultural resources, treaty rights, and to provide for the development and delivery of social and economic opportunities for our People through effective leadership.
The Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services Wellness Center serves the ambulatory health care needs of the people of the Klamath Tribes. Members of other federally recognized Tribes and Alaska Natives also receive care at the facility. The center is staffed with 1 Clinic Physician, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 3 Registered Nurses, 3 Pharmacists, 2 Dentists, 1 Dental Hygienist, 1 Radiology Technician and support staff.
The Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services Wellness Center encompasses a 16,000 square foot facility and is located in Chiloquin, OR—just 25 north of Klamath Falls. The Wellness Center was constructed in 2006. User population for 2007 was 3,231.
