AUTHORITY DELEGATED

Pursuant to the authorities delegated to the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), by the Assistant Secretary for Health on April 11, 1988, with authority to redelegate, the authorities under Section 3381 (42 United States Code 254r1) of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act as amended.  I hereby delegate to the officials listed below, with authority to redelegate, the authorities under Section 3381 of the PHS Act as amended to grant waivers and make default determinations for the IHS Scholarship Program.

These authorities may be redelegated.

RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS

Waivers must be recommended by the Director, Grants Management, prior to being approved by the Director, Office of Public Health Support.

SUPERSESSION

This delegation supersedes the previous delegation of authority to the Associate Director, Office of Health Programs, Program Delegation #11, dated May 22, 1992.

EFFECTIVE DATE

This delegation is effective on the date of signature.
