BACKGROUND:

This transmittal forwards a change to the Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5 - Delegations of Authority. Attached are four memorandums on the Delegation of Authority to sign applications to purchase tax-free and specially denatured alcohol and to appoint accredited officials to order controlled drugs from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Justice.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Remove items e., f., and g. from Exhibit 1-5.2H-3 and file the attached memorandums in front of this Exhibit, and in the Master Copy Delegations of Authority.

Log and file the Transmittal Notice in sequence.
