Transmittal Notice 06-14

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the revised Delegation of Authority (DOA), Program #12, “Administration of the Medicare Payment Special Fund and the Medicaid Payment Special Fund Established by the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, Public Law 94-437, as amended.”  The DOA is being reissued to reflect the changes incurred by the 2004 Indian Health Service (IHS) Headquarters reorganization.

The revised DOA, Program #12, “Administration of the Medicare Payment Special Fund and the Medicaid Payment Special Fund Established by the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, Public Law 94-437, as amended.”

DOA Program #12, “Administration of the Medicare Payment Special Fund and the Medicaid Payment Special Fund Established by the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, Public Law 94-437, as amended,” dated October 21, 1994.

Remove and discard the current copies of DOA Program #12, dated October 21, 1994, from your manual system binders.  Insert the attached copy of the revised DOA Program #12, TN 2006-14, in its place.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
