BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the revised Delegation of Authority (DOA), Commissioned Corps #4, “Approving Annual and Sick Leave Requests for PHS Commissioned Corps Officers.”  This DOA is being reissued to reflect the changes resulting from the 2004 Indian Health Service Headquarters reorganization.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED:

The revised DOA, Commissioned Corps #4, “Approving Annual and Sick Leave Requests for PHS Commissioned Corps Officers.”

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED:

DOA Commissioned Corps #4, “Approving Annual and Sick Leave Requests for PHS Commissioned Officers,” dated November 3, 1998.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Remove and discard the current copies of DOA, Commissioned Corps #4, “Approving Annual and Sick Leave Requests for PHS Commissioned Officers,” dated November 3, 1998, from your manual system binders.  Insert the attached copy of the revised DOA, Commissioned Corps #4, “Approving Annual and Sick Leave Requests for PHS Commissioned Corps Officers,” TN 2006-26, in its place.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
