BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the newly issued Delegation of Authority (DOA), Program #20, “Senior Travel Official.”  This DOA is being issued to reflect the changes in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Travel Manual, Chapter 1-10, Subsection 50.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED:

Indian Health Service (IHS) DOA Program #20, “Senior Travel Official.”

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED:

The HHS Travel Manual, Chapter 1-10, Subsection 50, supersedes DOA, Administrative #6 “Conference Management,” of the Indian Health Manual.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Remove DOA Administrative #6 “Conference Management” from your manual system binders and insert the attached copy of the newly issued DOA Program #20, “Senior Travel Official,” TN 2007-07, in your manual system binders as DOA Program #20.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
