Notes:
The Norton Sound Health Corporation [NSHC] in Nome, Alaska is recruiting for 3 physicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Doctor degree from an accredited college or university. Successful completion of Specialty Residency Program. Board Eligible or Board Certified in family practice, internal medicine, or the appropriate certification as deemed beneficial to NSHC. Current Alaska license as a physician, M.D. or D.O. OB experience or willing to take refresher provided.
Experience in the practice of medicine in remote and isolated setting is preferred.
Normal working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM participation in on-call schedule, weekend and evening work is expected.
Travel in small aircraft to Bering Straits villages is required.
