The IHS Division of Oral Health is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider
This course is not subject to the lottery. It is open only to dentists at GIMC.
The purpose of this course is to provide training in the fabrication of full and partial dentures. The course will utilize lecture, discussion and the treatment of approximately 15 edentulous patients. The course will extend over four patient visits approximately one month apart allowing time for the use of the dental laboratory to fabricate the dentures.
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to: 1. Take satisfactory alginate final impressions and satisfactorily fabricate the stone models. 2. Take accurate bite records, including accurate occlusal registration, vertical dimension and tooth selection. 3. Assess and correct, if necessary, the final setup of the dentures at a wax try in stage. 4. Correctly deliver the final dentures with oral and written instructions.

Tuition Payment Information:
Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at
least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course.
If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
