The IHS Division of Oral Health is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider
The Anchorage Dental Study Group will meet 1 hour every 2 months [9 hours/year]. The group will consist of dentists and dental hygienists. Continuing dental education will be provided by the study group participants in one of the following formats: 1. Journal article presentations 2. Clinical case presentations 3. Dental seminars 4. Guest speaker presentations This session will focus on pharmacology. The goal of this lecture is to share experiences and ideas among dentists new to the Indian Health Service. We plan to help strengthen your skills and clinical confidence particularly in the specialty area of dental pharmacology, so that you can address the unique treatment needs of a diverse patient population.
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify the most recent advances in clinical pharmacology for dentists. 2. Recognize the new drugs, and dental implications for drugs commonly used in hospitals today.

Tuition Payment Information:
Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at
least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course.
If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
