Summary:

This three-day course is primarily geared to dentists, but hygienists are welcome to attend the first day. Day two and day three are for dentists only. Topics to be presented include:
- Case presentations and treatment plans for pediatric dentistry.
- Ideas you may use to improve child behavior in the operatory.
- Review restorative techniques with Pulps / SSC.
- Review the indications for Alternative Restorative Techniques with Glass Ionomer cements.
- Indications and options for space management in the primary dentition.
- String of Pearls: Multiple short topics gathered over the years.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Rekindle enthusiasm to treat children of all ages.
2. Describe options [and the prognosis] for the various treatment scenarios.
3. List methods to improve child behavior in the operatory.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
