Summary:

The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Dental Prevention and Clinical Support Center’s purpose of this 1.5 hr course is to briefly train the Phoenix and Tucson Areas IHS, Tribal and Urban Dental Programs to develop, compose and submit a competitive Health Promotion / Disease Prevention proposal with the intent to increase the number of Health Promotion / Disease Prevention proposals from the two areas.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to:
1. Determine what types of interventions and service to include in a HP/DP program awards proposal and determine what types of interventions not to include in their proposal.
2. Apply the guidelines upon writing and submitting the HP/DP program award proposals.
3. Identify the criterion the reviewers will be looking for when reviewing the HP/DP program awards proposal, therefore preparing their proposals to meet the criterion of the reviewers.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
