Carbohydrate (carb) counting is a meal planning approach for diabetes management. This training provides an overview and key concepts of the three levels of carb counting; carb awareness, basic/consistent carb intake, and advanced carb counting using carb-to-insulin ratios and correction factors. Patient and clinician resources for each of the three levels are described.
