Palliative Care

Palliative care is medical care in which the main effort is relief of pain and suffering.
 
Even when there is not be a way to cure illness or prolong life we can help relieve pain and improve the quality of life. We can be sure that individuals get the kind of care they want at the end-of-life.
 
The Indian Health Services is working to develop palliative care expertise throughout the Indian health system.
