Goal #1
Physical therapists will be recognized by consumers and healthcare providers as the autonomous practitioner of choice, providing IHS patients direct access to care within the physical therapy scope of practice.

  1. Monitor physical therapist specialist certification throughout the IHS
  2. Promote specialist certification throughout the IHS

Goal #2
The orthopedic interest group will develop marketing strategies and educational materials targeting communities, providers, colleagues, administrations and academia.

Goal #3
Use standardized documentation and outcome measures to collect information for analysis within a central database.
