Verifying Your Data

Verifying Data Received by the NDW

When a file is successfully received by the NDW, the process sends out an automated email report called the NDW Data Transmission Log Report (commonly called the “Acknowledgement Report”, or “ACK” for short ) to the Site/Area contacts we have in our contact list. Also see the section “Export Tracking Mart” for additional resources for tracking your file’s status.
Below are some commonly asked questions concerning your exports received by the NDW:

Verifying Data Loaded by the NDW

When a file is successfully loaded into the NDW, the process sends out an automated email report called the NDW Post Data Load Report to the Site/Area contacts we have in our contact list. Also see the section “Export Tracking Mart” for additional resources for tracking your file’s status.

Below are some commonly asked questions concerning your export files that have been loaded into the NDW:

What if the Post Load Report indicates that exceptions/rejects/transformations have occurred?

The “Load Status” line located on the Post Load Report will show “Exceptions Detected” when there are Transformation or Reject notifications created upon loading the data to the NDW. No “Reject” errors have been found in the past year, so this would be unexpected. Please contact support@ihs.gov in the unlikely event that you receive a reject notification.

Transformations –These errors are noted near the bottom of the report to show the error name, field name, and the number of records for the submitted values that we cannot store in the NDW database exactly as received.   [Close]

Can you explain the errors on the Post Load Report and how to fix them?
How can I identify the encounters or registrations involved?
Why am I missing my Post Load Report?
