RRM Module: Respiratory Therapy

Overview:
The RRM Respiratory Therapy staffing module estimates the requirement for respiratory therapist to provide patient treatment ventilation and other breathing related treatments. The workload parameter that is the key variable in the staffing estimation is Average Daily Patient Load (ADPL).

Services Description:
Respiratory Therapy provided ventilation services and breathing treatment to patients as requested by Inpatient medical staff.

Staffing Criteria:
Respiratory Therapy Staff of 1.00 FTE for every 2,939 inpatient days with at least an ADPL of 5.
