IHS GAM Chapter 8-77,  dated April 19,:1995:  "Agency Agreements."
PHS GAM Chapter 8-77, dated October 15, 1993:
"Agency Agreements"  has been abolished.

Purpose

 The purpose of this Indian Health Service (IHS) Supplemental Chapter to the Department
 of Health and Human Services (HHS) General Administration Manual (GAM) is to incorporate the
 change regarding the dollar threshold of agreements that can be approved and-signed within the IHS.
 This also abolishes  any references to PHS GAM.of this chapter, which no longer exists. The IHS
 GAM provides guidance for preparing, obtaining clearances and filing agreements. The Division of
 Management Policy , Office of  Administration and Management, remains the office responsible for
 managing the IHS system of agency agreements.

Manual Maintenence
