PREPARATION AND UTILIZATION OF PRE-TRIP
                        STAFF PAPERS AND TRIP REPORTS

    The basic circular is amended by the addition of the following paragraphs to Section 4,B,(l).
 

         c. Pre-trip staff papers for all trips will also be submitted by Headquarters personnel to the
             appropriate Regional Health Director, Attention: Associate Regional Health Director (BHS)
             and to the Director, Bureau of Health:Services.

       d.  Field personnel visiting facilities and organizations other than Division of Indian Health facilities or
            Indian tribal organizations outside their Area; will submit a,copy of pre-trip staff paper to the
            Director,  Division of Indian Health and to the appropriate Regional Health Director, Attention:
            Associate  Regional Health Director (BHS).
