| Access Request | To use this site you must have an IHS Internet account. Register on the IHS Internet first. Your ITU code must be Government, Tribal, or Urban. Log in to the IHS Internet. After you have logged in, the TRANSAM Access Request link will be available to you. |

These three areas work similary.

| Searching |
Certain areas of the site allow you to search for different things. The search capability is similar in the different areas in which it's available. To increase the scope of your search, use the asterisk(*) as a wildcard symbol before and/or after a keyword you are looking for.
To get out of search mode, select a different area of the TRANSAM from the left side site navigation menu. |

Status |
The status column indicates the status of a piece of equipment. When the status is Available the equipment is available and can be reserved. When the status is Reserved the equipment has been reserved by you or another user. When the status is Approved it means that someone in a higher position has approved that piece of equipment for transfer. When the status is Transferred, the piece of equipment has been transferred to you. |
