Ms. Giotta has worked in diabetes for 18 years and is an expert in medical nutrition therapy. Ms. Giotta provides remote and telephone assistance using the RPMS diabetes management systems and case management. Ms. Giotta makes on-site visits to SDPI grantees to expand diabetes case management activities using their RPMS registries for program planning. She will assist grantees with ADA/IHS recognition process and provide expertise on diabetes team building to improve systems of care. In 2007, Ms. Giotta's scope was expanded to provide technical assistance to include the GPRA clinical measures.

Ms. Moore is a healthcare professional experience in diabetes and RPMS Diabetes Management Systems. Ms. Moore provides remote and telephone support using the RPMS diabetes registry and makes on-site visits to SDPI grantees. Ms. Moore builds upon lessons learned from the inception of the SDPI funding for the diabetes data project and strives towards chronic disease management.

Dr. Ray Shields has a contract with the National IHS Diabetes Program. Dr. Shields is an expert in diabetes and the annual diabetes audit. He reviews and cleans the diabetes data sent by the health care programs and then sends this information to the national diabetes statistician. Dr. Shields is available via telephone or email for questions about the annual diabetes audit.
