Attached (below) please find a Dear Tribal Leader Letter posted August 2, 2012 on the IHS Director's Blog concerning the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) and its implementation by the IHS.  This letter updates the on-going Tribal Consultation on FACA and clarifies how FACA applys to Tribal Consultations and IHS-sponsored boards, committees and workgroups.
