As a follow-up to a previous blog posting in July on the IHS Health Care Facilities Construction Consultation, we have posted the 2011 Report to Congress on Estimated Need for Tribal and Indian Health Service Health Care Facilities. Please be advised that the funding to construct the two California YRTCs has yet to be appropriated by Congress for 2013 until IHS completes healthcare facilities under construction. Design is underway for the southern YRTC, but needs construction funding ($19 million). Upon the D-QU/GSA land transfer, the northern YRTC will need both design and construction funding ($18 million).
