This Cherokee Nation facility is located on five acres at the edge of Sallisaw city limits. The Redbird Smith Health Center is 21,945 square feet, and an 11,444 square ft. annex was constructed in 2007. The clinic and annex walls are adorned with a collection of Native American art which includes a large original painting by Cherokee artist Daniel Horsechief depicting Smith and his family. Scope of Service: The clinic provides Medical, Dental, Optometry, Radiology, Behavioral Health, Public Health Nursing, Health Promotion Disease Prevention, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Nutrition, WIC and Contract Care.
