About King Cove

King Cove is located on the Alaska Peninsula in the Aleutians East Borough District. The permanent population in 2008 was 734; there are seasonal and transient workers throughout the year with the fisheries. The King Cove clinic is all outpatient ambulatory care provided by Mid-Level staff and Community Health Aides. The clinic provides primary care and emergency medicine. Dental services are provided by South Central Foundation roughly 2 times a year or referred out by emergency. King Cove will be getting a Dental Health Aide Therapist next year that will provide dental services for the community.
