Subject: Removing the CCR "Processing Delay" System Notification Message

Update

CCR will remove the red system notification message from the CCR website. For the past four weeks, the message warned of potential delays in processing new or renewing registrations. It also explained the steps we took to mitigate the impacts, i.e. extending the expiration dates by 60 days of those renewals who might be impacted.

After stabilizing system performance in early March, our main concern was the backlog of registrants needing manual CAGE code review. CAGE code processing on new registrations requiring manual review is now current to within 24-48 hours. The backlog is at a manageable level and should not cause broader processing delays.

Going forward, GSA will monitor both the average processing time and the number of new registrants requiring CAGE code processing to identify any potential challenges. We will also work with agencies on a case-by-case basis to address any specific policy concerns. And, we will keep you informed.
