National Chief Clinical Consultants (NC4)

The National Council of Chief Clinical Consultants is a permanent council of the Indian Health Service, composed of the Chief Clinical Consultants, who are appointed by the Director of the Indian Health Service. All Chief Clinical Consultant's are full-time employees of a Native Corporation, Urban, Tribal or Indian Health Service program, are board certified, registered or certified as appropriate for their discipline/specialty, and have significant experience in the discipline/specialty within the Native American healthcare system.

Information Systems Advisory Committee (ISAC)

The Information Systems Advisory Committee (ISAC) is established to guide the development of a co-owned and co-managed Indian health information infrastructure and information systems.  The ISAC will assist in ensuring that information systems are available, accessible, useful, cost effective, user-friendly, and secure for local-level providers, and that these systems continue to create standardized aggregate data that supports advocacy for the Indian health programs at the national level.  Recognizing that the health care delivery environment and information technologies that support it are rapidly changing, the ISAC will be flexible in interpreting the roles and rules of this document and revise them as necessary to best meet its goal.

National Council of Chief Executive Officers (NCCEO)

NCCEO is a council for Chief Executive Officers, Tribal Health Program Directors, and Urban Indian Health Program Directors for all Hospitals and Clinics in the Indian Health System and composed of designated IHS Chief Executive Officers (CEO), Tribal Health Program Directors, and Urban Indian Health Program Directors.

National Nurse Leadership Council (NNLC)

The National Nurse Leadership Council provides leadership for Indian Health through advocacy, accountability, communication and integrity. The purpose of the NNLC is to ensure that the Indian Health System Nursing Program representatives effectively participate in the establishment and implementation of Agency strategies to achieve the IHS mission.

National Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee (NPTC)

The IHS National Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee (NPTC) is looked to by the Indian Health System as its primary resource for improving the value, quality, and access to medical care and pharmacotherapy.

LISTSERV Lists

The Indian Health Service LISTSERV is an email system that allows all IHS audiences (patients, tribes, employees, contractors, providers, etc.) the opportunity to effectively communicate and collaborate on Indian Health and IHS related topics.
