AUTHORITY DELEGATED

Pursuant to the authorities specified in the Federal Register, Vol. 70, No. 199, published on October 17, 2005, I hereby delegate the authority to prepare and sign letters of determination to Tribes/Tribal organizations that communicate final Agency action resolving audits for Title V (Public Law 93-638) awards and Indian Health Service (IHS) grant awards to the officials listed below.

Director, Office Finance and Accounting

These authorities may not be redelegated.

RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS

Prior to signing a letter of determination that includes questioned costs, the Director, Office of Finance and Accounting must obtain written concurrence from at least one of the following officials as appropriate; the Chief Grants Management Officer, Director, Grants Policy Staff, or the Director, Office of Tribal Self-Governance, as appropriate.  The authorities granted herein shall be exercised under all other applicable statutes, Federal regulations, and policies as specified by the Department of Health and Human Services and the IHS.

EFFECTIVE DATE

This delegation is effective on the date of signature.
