Transmittal Notice 83-01

BACKGROUND:

This transmittal reviews paragraph 2-4.2A to reflect correct prior authorization procedures deemed necessary by the Division of Beneficiary Medical Programs, HRSA for primary medical and dental services and required pharmaceuticals provided through contracts with physicians, dentists and community pharmacies to commissioned corps personnel and their dependents.

Part 2, Chapter 4, Sections 1, 2A, and 2B, pages 1, 2, 2A, 2B, and 2C.

Part 2-4.1, 2A and 2B, TN 82.7 dated 9/15/82.

Remove the superseded pages 1, 2, 2A, 2B, and 2C and replace with the enclosed pages 1, 2, 2A, 2B, and 2C.  File Transmittal Notice in the appropriate section.
