BACKGROUND:

This transmittal transmits a revision of Part 2, Chapter 3, Contract Health Services, pages 1, 5, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

This revision brings the Chapter into compliance with recent legislation (P.L. 97-394) regarding non-Indian eligibility for services as Indian Health Service beneficiaries. This revision also clarifies the current CHSDA status of Arizona.
