Transmittal Notice 86-06

BACKGROUND:

This issuance updates and revises Part 1, Chapter 1 Indian Health Manual, establishes Part V as a Headquarters' Part; and establishes Indian Self-Determination Memorandums, IHS Data Systems Policy Management Memorandums, Community Health Representative Memorandums, and Special General Memorandums.

Part 1, Chapter 1 Indian Health Manual, pages 1 through 9 and Table of Contents.  Exhibits 1-1.1D(1), 2 pages; 1-1.3A(1), 2 pages; 1-1.3B, 2 pages; 1-1.3C, 3 pages; 1-1.3D, 2 pages; 1-1.5B(1), 2 pages; and 1-1.5C, 1 page only.

Part 1, Chapter 1 Indian Health Manual and Exhibits in its entirety which was issued by TN-72.1 dated March 13, 1972; TN-76.3 dated March 11, 1976; and TN-86.6 dated April 20, 1983.

Remove superseded chapter and exhibits and file the attached chapter and exhibits in place.

Log and file the Transmittal Notice (TN).
