BACKGROUND:

This is to transmit a copy of the Indian Health Manual (IHM), Part 3,Chapter 23, "Ethical and Professional Conduct of Health Care Providers." This chapter establishes policy, procedures, and responsibilities for Indian Health Service (IHS) personnel, supervisors, and management officials regarding the conduct of health care providers in the IHS.
