BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the revised Delegation of Authority (DOA), Commissioned Corps #1, “Collection of Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Indebtedness.”  This DOA is being reissued to reflect the changes incurred by the 2004 Indian Health Service (IHS) Headquarters reorganization.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED:

The revised DOA, Commissioned Corps #1, "Collection of Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Indebtedness."

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED:

DOA Commissioned Corps #1, “Collection of Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Indebtedness,” dated July 11, 1990.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Remove and discard the current copies of DOA, Commissioned Corps #1 “Collection of Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Indebtedness,” dated July 11, 1990, from your manual system binders.  Insert the attached copy of the revised DOA, Commissioned Corps #1, “Collection of Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Indebtedness,” TN 2006-16, in its place.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
