Identify high-risk patients using an annual foot examination and refer higher risk individuals into an appropriate prevention program.
Incorporate information on the fundamentals of assessing and treating higher risk patients into clinical practice i.e., neuropathic ulcers, ischemic ulcers, mild to severe infections and acute charcot foot.
