Description:
Since 1987, the program focuses on: culturally relevant prevention media, urban and rural outreach, education and awareness campaigns, dissemination of prevention technologies, statewide voice for prevention. This program seeks to reduce the threat of HIV/AIDS to Alaska Natives. The HIV/AIDS provides technical assistance, training, and distribution of educational materials to communities and health organizations.
